Friday, July 28, 2006 - Wang was awesome. Complete game shutout, giving up only two weak singles (one that was really an error on Cairo). This team is going to need these performances to keep the bullpen fresh.

Sunday, June 25, 2006 - Thanks to some great connections I was able to get the amazing seats for game 1 of the day/night doubleheader today. And what a game. Willis and Moose were locked into a pretty good pitching duel in which the Yankees battled to a 2-1 win. Moose got his 2,500 strikeout which was neat to see as well. And as this picture illustrates, there was a rain delay. But after they took the tarp off the rain pretty much held up the whole game with a few very light showers that lasted only briefly.
A play at the plate, a game winning homer, two possible future Hall of Famers taking the mound and a save from the greatest closer in baseball history. What more could you ask for?

I went to the Yankee game on Thursday afternoon in hopes of seeing them complete a sweep of the Royals. I was not disappointed. Sheffield, Giambi, and Damon all homered (Damon's first as a Yankee).
I didn't get the "good tickets" behind the Yankee dugout this time but instead decided to pony up the $5 for some upper deck action. I plan on getting the tickets behind the dugout for a few games this summer so I should get some great up-close shots of the game again. Check back later in May and June when I post them.

I was fortunate enough to attend the "Kiss Me I'm Imus" St. Patrick's Day event at the Ritz-Carlton in Boston this year. It was a pretty incredible morning. My father and I even got to meet Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney. Our seats were in the front row so I took a ton of pictures. Here's just one.
